The Australasian Real Estate Results Awards (ARERA) organisers are proud to announce the 2023 finalists for the 17th Annual Awards. Winners will be announced on the 20th of February 2023 in Sydney during what will be a memorable night of glitz and glamour.

The Australasian real estate market has experienced turbulence over the past year, with interest rate increases, rising inflation, declining consumer sentiment, and affordability issues driving a change in the market's performance in 2022.

Despite these challenges, many agents across Australia and New Zealand rose to the occasion. The ARERAs is the Real Estate Results Network's annual celebration of these top real estate professionals and recognise the incredible results achieved over the past 12 months.

Finalists in the ARERAs are among the highest performers in the Network and within the region's real estate industry more broadly. The 2023 finalist list features a mix of returning and new names, demonstrating the competitiveness of this year's nominations.

The Boutique Agency of the Year category has three finalists: Kollosche, Lucas Real Estate, and Warwick Williams Real Estate. Kollosche, a 2022 finalist and winner of the 2022 Boutique Agency of the Year award, will look to defend its title against two formidable contenders.

The Property Management Agency of the Year category features four finalists: Marshall White, Morton, Reliance Real Estate, and Warwick Williams Real Estate. Reliance Real Estate, last year's winner, returns as a finalist once again.

The Marketing Agency of the Year category includes six finalists: Cunninghams, Kollosche, Lowe & Co Realty, Nolan Partners, Position Property, and Tomoro. Cunninghams, the 2021 winner and a 2022 finalist, will look to repeat its success, but Kollosche Agency and Position Property Agency, both 2022 finalists, will be tough competition.

The Rising Star Agency of the Year category features four finalists: eResidential, Leeton Real Estate, STRUD Property, The Industry Estate Agents, and Tomoro. Leeton Real Estate, a 2022 finalist, will look to take home the 2023 award.

In the individual awards category, Toowoomba-based Tomoro shines, with four of its agents being named as finalists in different categories. Tye Thies is a finalist for Principal of the Year, while Heston Marino is a favourite to win the Agent Achiever of the Year award. Bec Hohn, another Tomoro agent, is a finalist for Property Management Performer of the Year, and Torrie Thies, Tomoro's Business Development Manager, is a contender for the Business Development Manager of the Year award.

"The ARERAs are a celebration of the best and brightest in the industry, and this year's finalists truly embody that spirit," said Tye Thies, Principal.

"The success of these finalists is a testament to the hard work, passion, and dedication they bring to the real estate industry."

The countdown is officially on for the 17th Annual Australasian Real Estate Results Awards, and the organisers look forward to recognising the Network's outstanding achievements over the past 12 months.

The ARERAs are only made possible through the valuable participation of Network Members, who all deserve to be commended for their achievements in 2022. Looking ahead to 2023, Network Members are once again poised to play a crucial role in shaping the future of the real estate industry.
